MARTIN GARRIX at war! He’s planning a lawsuit against his ex manager
Martin Garrix will start a lawsuit against his ex-manager Eelko Van Kooten accusing him for for providing “false and misleading information” in order to sign with Spinnin Records when he was only 16 y.o..
Martin Garrix says he had no experience in the music industry and he was forced into giving up the rights to his music without fully understanding what he was doing.
The Dutch artist announced on August 26th that he had terminated his agreements with Spinnin’ and MusicAllstars, citing a disagreement over ownership rights of his music.
I am extremely disappointed that the discussions have not led to a change in the agreements or return of the ownership rights and that is why I nullified them," Garrix said. "With that, I close this chapter.
His lawyer, Oktay Düzgünsaid and Van Kooted did not want to comment on this.
